Business Development Manager- Channel Sales (VAR Focus)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Channel Sales Representative to manage and grow our Value Added Reseller (VAR) channel. This role is responsible for identifying, onboarding, and enabling VAR partners to drive revenue growth through indirect sales. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of partner ecosystems, B2B technology sales, and channel development strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage relationships with VAR partners to meet or exceed sales targets.
Identify and recruit new VARs aligned with company objectives and market opportunities.
Drive partner enablement through product training, marketing support, and joint business planning.
Collaborate with internal sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure partner success.
Monitor and report on partner performance metrics, pipeline, and forecasts.
Act as the main point of contact for partner escalations and support needs.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitive landscape, and product updates.
Requirements:
5+ years in channel sales, partner management, or VAR experience within the tech or SaaS sector.
Strong understanding of indirect sales models and partner ecosystems.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Experience using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
