As a Network Domain Architect (Operational Design Authority & Strategy), you'll play a critical role in defining, implementing, and maintaining technical excellence within a high-impact defence project.

What You'll Be Doing

Technical Leadership - Define and oversee the network architecture strategy, ensuring best-in-class design principles.

Design Authority - Act as the primary technical authority, ensuring solutions align with business objectives and industry standards.

Stakeholder Engagement - Work closely with clients, partners, and internal teams to drive strategic decisions and maintain strong relationships.

Innovation & Future-proofing - Keep pace with emerging technologies to enhance network capabilities and service delivery.

Team Mentorship - Guide engineers and technical teams, ensuring alignment with architectural frameworks and strategic goals.
What You'll Bring
Experience - Proven track record as a Network Domain Architect within a Managed Services environment.
Strategic Expertise - Ability to operate as a Design Authority on large accounts, leading bids, transitions, and complex solutions.
Technical Mastery - Deep understanding of:
- Cisco ACI (multi-site & multi-pod)
- Firewalls (Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Cisco Firepower, Cisco ASA & AnyConnect Remote Access)
- Enterprise Wi-Fi (Cisco WLC or equivalent)
- Networking Protocols (IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)
- Security Clearance - Must be eligible for SC clearance (UK residency for the last 5 years required).
- People & Relationship Skills - Strong stakeholder management with the ability to influence and build trust.
